2012 Sierra Academy of Music, Junior Program (SAM Jr) for developing young string players and pianists, ages 8-12 Session 1: July 16-20, 2012 Session 2: July 23-27, 2012 Tuition: $150 per session Application deadline: May 1, 2012 SAM Jr. is a day camp (1:00 PM - 5:00 PM) for the youngest students (8-12). Musical learning includes individual lessons with practice pals, orchestra coaching, and basic theory. Each week's camp concludes with a Friday afternoon performance. Students have the option of enrolling in a morning session (10:00 AM - 1:00 PM) of playful recreational activities and short hikes. Additional cost: $50, per session.
