In Mammoth Lakes and Bishop, CMU offers after-school programs for pianists and string players of all ages and levels of ability, including private instruction, group lessons, orchestra and chamber music workshops. CMU provides scholarship instruments and tuition waivers to over 40% of group program participants. Music School programs include: Chamber Music Mayhem - for players 10-18 with over 3 years experience on their instrument Mammoth and Bishop String Orchestras - for ages 5-15 Group Piano Lessons at Cerro Coso, Mammoth Lakes - for ages 12-18. Private Lessons with enrollment in the "Certificate of Merit" program of the Music Teachers Association of California - for all ages and abilities Additionally, CMU offers these programs in collaboration with Cerro Coso Community College.
