The Felici Trio's Rebecca Hang and Brian Schuldt welcome two wonderful guest artists, violinist Aimee Kreston (Concertmaster of the Pasadena Symphony), and violist Andrew Picken (Associate Principal of the L.A. Opera), for this special musical event. Join them for a sneak preview of CMU's 2011 Summer Music Festival programs, with a selection of lively and entertaining string quartets! Learn also about the concurrent Sierra Academy of Music (SAM) and its growing education programs that attract students from across California, the U.S., and even from abroad. Ms. Kreston and Mr. Picken, who both teach at the renowned Colburn School for the Performing Arts in Los Angeles, will give some specific background on the caliber of students, as well as on the curriculum of the Academy.

Rebecca, Aimee, Brian, and Andrew will perform at 6:00 and 8:00 PM - while you enjoy appetizers and drinks donated by our finest local restaurants!

And there's more! Don't miss your chance to bid in a silent auction on magnificent vacation opportunities in Paris, Hawaii, Germany and the Channel Island Beach, a 5-day night sailing trip in Chesapeake Bay, passes to Snowcreek Athletic Club, and Golf Course and box seats to the Hollywood Bowl. Plus numerous other wonderful items, all donated by CMU's generous supporters.

Or, have you ever thought of helping CMU by adopting an artist? More about this unique sponsorship opportunity of the 2011 Summer Festival at the "Felici & Friends Fundraiser"…

ITEM #3 - ONE WEEK AT PARIS APARTMENT
Generously donated by Andrew Picken and Aimee Kreston

A one bedroom apartment in the Montmartre district in Paris. The apartment is a third floor walk-up. It has a double bed in the bedroom, a kitchen with everything you would need. There is also a double futon couch in the living room. Since it is small, it is most comfortable for a couple, or possibly a couple with one or two small children.

The apartment is in the Montmartre district of Paris. This is a hilly section of Paris, so there are some steep streets and steps all around. It is a very lively area of Paris -- think the movie "Amelie". There are tiny little streets, small restaurants and unique boutiques everywhere. It is nice to leave the larger boulevards of the center and come home to this little village atmosphere. Notre Dame Cathedral is 12 minutes on the Metro.
